Failed cunning plan

For some reason, I thought this lovely half glass of Shiraz would help me with writing the next bit. Nope. Now, I’m behaving like a child with a plate full of lima beans and okra. No I don’t wanna wanna wanna.

  1. mmmm, shirazy goodness. Is it wrong that I have been relishing in the ability to drink again. As for the lack of incentive with writing – that’s ’cause you went with wine. You have to go to the hard stuff for writing – think whiskey, scotch, rye. Wine is for lounging, talking and sex. Of course, whiskey for me always meant that I had to be chaperoned as it is the one alcohol where I have actually been on the table dancing under its influence. Where did those days go? It has been a LONG time since I have been dancing. I don’t even know if I could stay awake? And now I will leave in order to stop the rambling…

  2. I would have to agree with Gen – tequila is my “writer’s drink of choice” (sipped slowly, though).

  3. (PS: Glad you’re back blogging again!)
