Ripley and I were getting ready to head out and grab some shwarma, and I put his socks, on for him, but must’ve done it a little funny on his left foot, ’cause he limped away, and then wiped out a-la “Breakin’ 2 – Electric Boogaloo” once he hit the hardwood flooring outside his room.<\/p>\n

There were tears, there were comments about the evil floor that had somehow wrestled him into a horizontal position.<\/p>\n

The socks were rearranged for him, and he got up and tried again.<\/p>\n

I asked him if he was okay, and he suddenly composed himself and said “I fine,” and walked back to his toys in the living room. His tone was as if I’d offended him by asking if he was okay.<\/p>\n
