Somehow, I’ve managed to avoid the “Can’t talk: Halflife2” effect, but I think that’s mostly ’cause Ripley would be traumatized forever if he saw “daddy’s computer” display screaming burning dudes with thawed turkeys on their heads.<\/p>\n

Blew the pluralization there. One head per burning dude. One turkey-monster per head. No substitutions.<\/p>\n

Also, I’m not playing it at work (although NFSU2 is done, and NFS__ won’t be near a milestone for a while, and NHL has moved to Burnaby, so we’ve had some time on our hands). I’m not playing it at work, not because I’ve got strong work ethic, but because I’m worried I’m gonna walk through a door one day and throw a monitor at someone who startles me. I don’t think they’d respond with “Hey, cut it out.”<\/p>\n

So yeah, I’ve only just recently hit the button at the far side of the bridge (or maybe it was mid-span?) and then managed to throw myself off into space (madly punching ‘9’ as I do), and took it as a sign to stop for the day.<\/p>\n

Also, I’ve been taking the time that I could be spending playing games or writing, and instead blogging (more specifically, writing ABOUT blogging, which is like singing about music, which always had this moebius strip feel to me).<\/p>\n

So yeah, this post is an excellent example of why I’m not getting anywhere in the game.<\/p>\n

PS: Anybody finished their Xmas shopping yet? Me either. I bought myself a Robosapien ($99 at Shoppers) though, does that count?<\/p>\n
