{"id":87614170,"date":"2007-05-31T22:15:08","date_gmt":"2007-06-01T06:15:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.geckotemple.com\/blog\/?p=87614170"},"modified":"2007-05-31T22:15:19","modified_gmt":"2007-06-01T06:15:19","slug":"so-what-is-it-working-as-a-post-thing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.geckotemple.com\/blog\/?p=87614170","title":{"rendered":"So, what, is it working as a post thing?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Here&#8217;s me testing Microsoft&#8217;s new <a href=\"http:\/\/writer.live.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Windows Live Writer<\/a>, and so far, I gotta say, there&#8217;s some pretty amazing things it&#8217;s doing right outta the box:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It downloaded and installed in about 30 seconds (no activation, no stupid link\/login things.<\/li>\n<li>It&#8217;s doing live spell-check as I type.<\/li>\n<li>It&#8217;s doing an auto save every three minutes (Arwen&#8217;ll like that).<\/li>\n<li>It&#8217;s showing what I&#8217;m writing using the style-sheet from my own blog, so I know what the layout is, and how it&#8217;s going to look ON MY BLOG. (Sorry Facebook, and LiveJournal, you&#8217;ll be stuck with whatever happens during translation).<\/li>\n<li>{Uh, randomly deleting the word I was typing *right* before it autosaved?&nbsp; Hullo?}<\/li>\n<li>Allegedly can do pictures and things like that there, so we&#8217;ll just have to see about that, won&#8217;t we?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Okay, that&#8217;s enough of that.&nbsp; Daily Show is on.<\/p>\n<p>Oh, and everyone think good thoughts about my moms, mkay?&nbsp; She&#8217;s in hospital with a thing, and we&#8217;re all happily pretending we&#8217;re not scared poopless.<\/p>\n<p>{Okay, wtf?
