I did some dishes, and hung out while he zoned out on the couch.\u00a0 Made some cardboard coasters wrapped in wrapping paper.\u00a0 Wait, no. The coasters<\/em> were wrapped in paper, not him.\u00a0 He was sick, not high.\u00a0 (Though he did seem to enjoy working with the glue a little more than usual.)<\/p>\n So we watched the Empire Strikes Back (his first time), and then we watched the credits to find Nilo’s name (Ripley has met Nilo, and kept asking me “did Nilo make that?” for the first twenty minutes.)<\/p>\n Doesn’t get much better than THAT.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" How do you know your six-year-old is sick?
