{"id":87614660,"date":"2009-11-20T00:38:57","date_gmt":"2009-11-20T08:38:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.geckotemple.com\/blog\/?p=87614660"},"modified":"2009-11-20T23:10:25","modified_gmt":"2009-11-21T07:10:25","slug":"my-brain-hurts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.geckotemple.com\/blog\/?p=87614660","title":{"rendered":"My Brain Hurts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I got nothing for ya today folks, so I&#8217;ll just say a couple really quick things:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>My half brother in law is back in hospital &#8211; think happy thoughts.<\/li>\n<li>My dad&#8217;s in Mexico so I ended up doing a long distance support call\n<ul>\n<li>Last month, I did the same thing (remote connect) for my mom, in <em>Juba<\/em><\/li>\n<li>So then I had to try to troubleshoot the video camera of my half-sister in-law, too.\n<ul>\n<li>While THAT was happening, the emergency number called me, Vancouver studio was &#8220;off the map&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li>Had to zip into the office tonight to apply the technician proximity effect\n<ul>\n<li>Worked like a charm.\u00a0 Everything was running again by the time I sat down at my desk.\u00a0 Disaster averted.\u00a0 Fire fought.\u00a0 Action taken?\u00a0 None.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Looks like my buddy Nilo might be heading home to LA in the near future.\n<ul>\n<li>I&#8217;m going to miss him a lot, he&#8217;s been a good friend, and I don&#8217;t have many.<\/li>\n<li>Not sure if that&#8217;s because I lose them, or just don&#8217;t make them very quickly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Ghost Whisperer is officially my guilty pleasure.\u00a0 Stupid show, but entertaining, and Jay Mohr cracks me up.<\/li>\n<li>Jonny Vancouver called tonight with a &#8220;humline&#8221; request, and I had no idea, Arwen was pretty sure she recognized it.\u00a0 Told Jon to phone Delilah, &#8217;cause she&#8217;d know something like that.\u00a0 She heard the Chocolate Song by Buddy Whatshisname and the Other Fellers (true band name) ONCE, and a year later sang it verbatim, complete with odd key changes in the third verse.\n<ul>\n<li>For Real.\n<ul>\n<li>I don&#8217;t have many friends, but stuff like that is why I love the few I have.<\/li>\n<li>PS: Duncan got the song title together before anyone else.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><object width=\"425\" height=\"344\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/sAh4Vb1ghCo&#038;hl=en_US&#038;fs=1&#038;\"><\/param><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\"><\/param><param name=\"allowscriptaccess\" value=\"always\"><\/param><embed src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/sAh4Vb1ghCo&#038;hl=en_US&#038;fs=1&#038;\" type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" allowscriptaccess=\"always\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" width=\"425\" height=\"344\"><\/embed><\/object><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I got nothing for ya today folks, so I&#8217;ll just say a couple really quick things: My half brother in law is back in hospital &#8211; think happy thoughts.
