Photo Geek Across The Ocean.

The seven people who read this blog know that I’m doing a photo-a-day project. It’s affiliated with the one board I post on, which is UK-based.

I know. I am not UK based. I found it by accident and stayed because the grammar in the posts was the best I’d seen and the relationships I saw between members were real.

Well, it looks like I might be having a meet-up with some other members of the board while I am in the UK this spring, to take pictures in London.

I am so excited.

I’ve always wondered what I would do if I met anyone from the internet that I know on the internet. Would I be able to talk to them? Or would I have to go across the room and send them messages?

    That’s so exciting it’s unreal.

    Rachel, I am!
Stephanie, I have no idea what I’m going to do. it’s kind of like meeting celebrities, only they’re only celebrities in my head.
    Arwen, it really feels unreal.

It’s actually rather neat to meet someone you’ve been talking to for ages on line. I spent a few years doing a lot of chatting and I actually met at least 40 people (I counted once but have forgotten the real number). I even married one of them.

Hey, when are you going to the UK? I’m going to be in Edinburgh from May 8 – 18th. Do we have overlap?

Duncan, I’ll be there from the 16th to the 23rd.

Beth, I used to go to modem meets with local kids, and I actually intended to marry one of them. But I hope not to marry anyone from this meet-up!
