Saturday Confessions.

Uh, hi. I forgot yesterday was Friday. More to the point, I was preternaturally aware that it was Friday, so focused on the fact, that I forgot to post a Friday Confessions.

I was waiting for E to call and tell me either he had succeeded at stage-managing at Pemberton, or that he was going to jump from the girders, and I’d have to talk him down.

At ten thirty, I got a call from a triumphant E. Everything went well, no one died, exploded, or was out of tune. He did almost kick Bob Rock off the stage (BR was watching), but didn’t, so avoided a major gaffe.

My confession: I miss him. A lot.

Anyone else late with a confession?

I guess my confession is that I couldn’t think of anything to confess.
Except that we will definitely not be moving everything tomorrow when the movers come, because not everything will be ready.
All the books will be, though!

I am beginning to think that maybe a small bb gun would not be so bad if it meant that the friggin’ squirrels would stay the f* out of my plants. Squirrels are NOT cute and these ones are definitely not scaredy sqirrels (great book by the way – and Canadian too). They may be afraid of sharks but cats are apparently not a concern.
Sabine may have caught a mouse but this obviously has not instilled much fear into the squirrels as they continue to scamper past her head pausing to chatter at her (possibly mocking her for her small head/big butt) on their way to dig up my basil, or Sweet Williams or whatever else they can find.

    Stupid squirrels.
But really I do love animals.

I’ve come back here for two days now but still can’t think of anything.

    New, that is.

Same old “i’m tired & whiny” applies but too boring to re-confess.

Els, good luck on the packing!
Gen, we used to slongshot beans at the pigeons that came to the bird feeder…until the neighbours reported mysterious bean plants. BB guns would be okay, I am sure.
Cheesefairy, whine away. That’s what this place is for!

I confess to, um, not knowing what to do next.

Arwen—too little to do? Or too much? Or neither?
