Stick It!

I have a new favourite adhesive. Before, I was totally a Five-Minute Epoxy kind of person, because of the mixing with the toothpick, and seeing the two clear gels kind of go viscous and opaque. It appealed to my Mad Chemist.

But I have just solved all my heat vent dilemmas with something called ‘No More Nails’. It is going into my personal toolbox o’ solutions, along with duct tape, WD-40, and Fast Orange degreaser.

Goodbye, 30-degrees-at-10PM! Goodbye whistling registers! Goodbye, stuffing a T-Shirt into the vent! Goodbye, cardboard-over-the-vent!

This is an exciting day.

No more nails! That’s exactly what I need to help me with my new business as a seamstress. The nails, they didn’t hold very well, were really pokey, and totally screwed up my lovely silk duponi. Damn.

Captcha is suggesting – Willcockson heels! No more nails is good for cobbling, too! Although I don’t think that a shoe is caulked, per SE.

I think you can caulk a shoe. I have no doubt that I am going to try.

Hmmm. Where’d ya buy it? Wonder if it would be the answer to the bathroom towel rod bracket repair job. Someone, sometime tried gluing it, with who knows what, but it did not work. It would be great to have that extra towel rod back – and it is vintage, after all.

Fran, I got it at Home Depot. But it says it’s not for use in ‘wet or permanently damp areas’. What about some bathroom-specific silicone?
