Woody’s Here!

So yesterday a special package arrived for me.  Inside,  along with a lovely little notebook, bookmark, and camera case, was Woody the Wandering Wol.

Woody is a felted owl created by a very talented fabric artist in my Photo-a-Day group. We send him around among us in the group, and he sees all our local sights. We take pictures of him in front of famous stuff.

Monday I’m going out to take pictures with Woody. I love Photo-a-Day because it’s making me a better photographer and because it’s made me not only unembarrassed, but even excited about taking a little felted owl around my city, looking for photo-ops.

Where should we go?

Yeah, so frustrating. I don’t know how you convince people their vote is important. Think we should switch to the Aussie system where you are fined if you don’t vote. Very, very disappointed that he is the MP for our area. Sucks.

Up Grouse mountain, and get a panorama picture looking out towards UBC.

    Fab suggestions, all! Thank you.

Even the suggestion about me being a booger? Because that is manifestly untrue. I believe I may have a gremlin here… Named Ethan? That’s just weird.

Was Ethan at your house, Rachel? ‘Cause he wasn’t at mine.

Oh, I think it was Scott. And suspect Ethan was part of the Captcha, somehow. He denies everything of course. He’ll probably take it to his grave, along with the mystery of how a frog got into his mother’s toilet when he was a kid…
