Here’s a quickie breakdown of everything on my desk at work. Enjoy the mess… Make sure you go to the Flickr site and mouse over everything to see what it all is.
You really do find the weirdest stuff when you’re not looking for it…
More like marshmallow ball of DOOM!
Is there a link to the photo somewhere? I don’t see one… Maybe Flickr inserts a link. Hmm…
Those who know me and the nature of my work, will have a pretty good idea what this will do to the length of my work-week.
Oh so very happy to see the clouds out there today.

Saturday night our party with DJ Craze and Knick from Evol Intent was brutally raided by 90 officers from SWAT in full combat gear, assault rifles and all.
What’s up with Utah’s SWAT team? Needed to train their guys in “glowstick ops”?
Looks like local media has started out with “yay us,” and is quickly turning to “well, maybe the swat guys got a little outta control…” due to Video Footage of:
a 2 minute clip showing two of my friends Paul and Alisha being beaten and tased. The previously posted video didn’t have sound. This one has audio and is a lot better quality. (They were charged with failure to obey and resisting arrest. tell me that that much force was justified?)
I was looking for a price on the Noise Shirt, and linked from that site’s sidebar is the ***** of the day section, and today’s ***** of the day is
Enjoy.
iPod speakers shaped like a dog, and it dances and has lights and everything.

So, um, Nilo? Next time you’re in Japan? Please?
[Edit: This thing arrived – Nilo Rodis is now officially my hero]
The New Yorker movie critic Anthony Lane has written my favourite thing about Star Wars, Episode III (Revenge of the Sith).
This review is worth watching the movie.
Oh, and Spoiler Alerts… {Anakin is Darth! Yoda was younger! Padme is pregnant with TWINS!}
But for those of you who’ve received emails to go to http://www.referendumcanada.ca and vote on your take on gay marriage… take note of who you’re voting *with*.
Netcraft’s Report on that link shows that ReferendumCanada.ca is run by MassachusettsUnitedFamilies.org, who are the kind of folks who say things like
Massachusetts United Families is an organization dedicated to defending and promoting marriage and the family in Massachusetts. We are the state affiliate of United Families International.
So, not a Canadian group at all, and not exactly a “disinterested third party.”
