Ducky Duck

Good ol Engrish.com is still up, and I found this duck reference that I just had to share. Mostly for Clara and her thing about ducks.

This man is insane

Some of the best photographs of whacko sky activity I’ve ever seen in my life.

There were video clips at some point, but then they got mentioned on Fark and all bets were off.

EA & Crytek: Another bite out of Ubisoft’s pie.

EA has announced that they’ve formed a “strategic partnership” with Farcry’s development group, Crytek. In other news today, Ubisoft pulls Farcry patch 1.2… Is Ubi getting tired of watching their development teams get gutted yet?

Forgot to mention this: Synergy

Want a KVM switch that’s K/M, but not V? Multiple monitors on multiple computers usually means multiple keyboards and mice, even if all the monitors are lined up in a row. Not any more.

Synergy lets you easily share a single mouse and keyboard between multiple computers with different operating systems without special hardware. It’s intended for users with multiple computers on their desk since each system uses its own display.

You just kinda mouse off one side of the screen onto the next computer.

Check it out here.

ROADTRIP!

I’m on a business trip to Redmond. Microsoft, that is. I’m pretty sure it’s the first one I’ve ever had in my life. Or is it more of a Junket? I’m doing some stuff for this.

Took a little tiny flight from Vancouver to Seattle. The process of getting through the airport and into the air took longer than the flight. I’m here now though. Not looking forward to going back. I’ve got a headache that a cup of coffee and (hey!) some yummy chicken fingers hasn’t killed off.

I’ve been running around the room with my little camera, and I’ve come to either/both of two conclusions:

1. The camera’s broken.
2. My Nose is crooked.

I took a schwack of photos, and they’re all either off to one side, or too low. Makes it kinda difficult to show Arwen (or you, dear reader) what the place looks like. Although, mostly she’ll probably just want the little soaps from here, and won’t really care what the place looks like.

Okay, my head hurts, and this chair is a weird combination of squishy, too low, and too rock-back-and-forthy.

Listen to me, Mr. Elitist “doesn’t like his chair.” Oh sure, fly me here, feed me, and put me up for two nights, but this CHAIR is a problem. I should be a SOUND ENGINEER with an attitude like that.

Gummi bears defeat fingerprint sensors

Sometimes the simple stuff defeats the tricky stuff.

Sony Corp Copy-Protection vs. .99c Sharpie pen is my fave, I think.

And back in 2k2, it was Gummi Bear vs. Fingerprint reader:

Go here and read it for yourself.

Looks kinda interesting:

The big book of gods from as many different mythologies/pantheons as possible.

African, Australian, Aztec, Chinese, Egyptian, Finnish, Greek, Incan, Mayan, Native American, and Norse.

Nice.

Something a little strange about the little box that says “Over 1,600 Gods now online!” though.

Check it out here.

W.Bloggar has a feature I didn’t know about. The little notes at the bottom of the window will do this:

[Listening to: Cows With Guns (Radio Paradise – eclectic intelligent rock – music info & listener community at radioparadise.com) – Dana Lyons – (0:-1)]

…if you’ve got Winamp running. I just happen to be streaming RadioParadise right now.

Pretty neat.
