NEW TOOL!

Just found something called MaxLister that looks like a freeware (and not quite so pretty) version of WhereIsIt. Version 2.41 was available today from here.

Bark.

I’m somewhat sorta a little tired, which is, of course, NOTHING compared to how tired Arwen is today, I bet. Toady’s a little crazy, but mostly just the tension of users knowing that there’s new hardware to be had, and none of them are getting it immediately. I’m doing what I can here to figure out who gets what when it comes to the Alienware hardware, but it’s all a little seat-of-my-pants.

Aparently, Homeworld 2 is already in the top ten games of 2003 (neat trick, since we’re working on it right now).

Alsoplus, Frequency Zero, Steampowered Films‘ entry in the 48 Hour Film Fest in Vancouver won Best Ensemble and the Audience Award. Woohoo. First time they’ve ever had a musical at the 48, too, I think.

There’s going to be a showing at RumRunners some time next week (first week of Sept 2002) and they’re already talking about putting together a DVD of their films. Coolness.

Oh yeah. Two things.

Bitter Films has a little bit of pencil animation silliness called Rejected that’s just too crazy for it’s own good.

Also, I’m trying to find out information about an animated piece by Richard Condie called “La Salla” Here’s the blurb: A tale of a man who has everything he needs in his one little room, and the disasters that befall him when he succumbs to the temptation of the world outside his door. An Italian opera, with subtitles and some cows and fish.

Okay, so I don’t want “more information.” I want a copy of it.

Oh yeah, that, and “Vernon Florida

Okay, three things. So shoot me.

As if anybody would actually READ this. :^)

Sierra: Homeworld 2 is a fairly simple little teaser site. Homeworld.com is decidedly something else.

Boring3d is where this 3d animator is doing a 3d image per day, and some of his stuff is really cool. Check it out if you’ve got a minute (and scroll down to the bottom and work your way up).
