Two new & cool things today. Okay, so maybe more like five.

Sonic Foundry’s Acid 4.0 Pro bld 215 does some pretty neat stuff, from what I’ve seen, but will it still keep me from going over to Propellerheads’ Reason? I’m thinking that since I’m still not a Midi user (even though my DX27 is still sitting under my desk), I might continue to hold off. Hard to say, really.

Creo’s Six Degrees – Looks like a Mac team tried to make Outlook 2000 more friendly. I can understand why you’d want to do that, but there’s a number of apps that can give you most of the same functionality, without having to park this monster on top of Outlook. Of course, what do I know? I’m still using NEO for my email client.

NetJuke looks pretty squippy, if they ever make a Windows-based server. Freeware MP3 hosting & streaming. Could be interesting. Could also be very very ugly. :)

We’re trying to get the new Exchange 2000 server up and running, but of course, there’s all sorts of things we need to worry about so we don’t do anything irreversible in the process.

I’m going to be revamping the tape backup system today so we can (we hope) manage to get something together that doesn’t require six days between backups. Should be interesting (hah!).

RubyShort-Staffed at the Gene Pool is pretty squippy. I *think* this is the same Ruby that did the “Now I smell of Paraffin” track from the mid 90s. Ogre of Skinny Puppy is doing some work with this set, so there’s some weirdness that’s kinda yummy.

Lina‘s “I’m Not The Enemy” was on a soundtrack I heard recently, and it gave me chills. Yum.

Okay, get to work already.

Hello there! I was wondering if you had the Lina mp3 or you knew where I could download it, because I also heard it and thought it was just amazing! I hope you can help! If not, thanks for your time.
