Toren Atkinson’s blog has a pretty cool idea:
Thursday, April 29, 2004: Post a memory of me in the comments. It can be anything you want. Then, of course, post this to your journal and see what people remember of you.
I doubt I’ll get anything, but I’ll probably get spammed by people (again) who think I am way off the mark on anything/everything I say.
Maybe this time, it’ll actually get read.

I’m listening to a narrowcast by a friend from IRC and thinking I should have him take a listen to some Gecko Temple, but I’m wondering how to describe who you are (besides just saying you’re a fellow grownup). Then this quite original meme!
What sort of memory would pass muster? By late 1993 or maybe early ’94, I hadn’t met a lot of people quite as involved with music as yourself. You sensed nuances I never really entertained before. We (er) sampled some Laurie Anderson in your housesit in the West End, a relative’s apartment crammed with Disneyish kitsch and jammed with CD racks. The Hamburger Mary’s hummus had too much garlic powder. We had a reasonable conversation about dandruff.

you are SO WRONG! ha! ha ha!
though I know it is old & perhaps overdone, I still laugh at the memory of the waiter named David at Denny’s, who thought the name of our table was David. And then there’s your blue-faced braveheart halloween costume. And that really big maroon car. Did that car actually float? Did you hear about the RVs that go from water to land? Pretty damn cool. http://www.terrawind.com
