Oldschool Eyecandy: Bryce 5.0 is Free Now

Add comments

There’s probably not too many of my readers who’ll remember this application from when it first came out, but Bryce 5.0 is now free for download (the latest version Bryce 5.5 is still about $100).

Wanna make shiny balls that hang in the air, and huge burning planets in the background, like this one?

wow, i know i’m pretty low on the tech-geek totem pole but i remember Bryce well. how many rave flyers are indebted to those rasterized globes and sun flares. maybe i’ll grab myself a copy and cook up mercury-coated buddah floating over a pair of 1200’s (with a fractal background of course). i’m thinking: “phraktal convergenz”. hee hee!
