That’s a fantastic idea, John. Years ago I wanted to cycle from Ottawa to Stratford but never got around to it.
Just a little advice though: Trying to do it in one day may be a bit lofty. The math is more or less 1 hour driving = 1 day cycling (when you work in the fact that you’ll have to stop to rest, etc). Even the Tour de France dudes only do 5-6 hrs a day. But don’t let this discourage you. DOO EET! Just bring a tent or some hotel gift cards.
If I don’t end up moving to Beijing in the next couple of months, I will do it with you. It took me about 2 and a half hours to cycle to maple ridge from my place in east van 2 years ago and was surprisingly easier than I thought it would be.

I clicked on the ‘view larger map link’, and it gave me the WALKING directions to Harrison Hot Springs. So….you gonna walk to Harrison? Yeah, RIGHT

Dude. I’ll drive you if you want. (but I suspect you want to cycle?)

Oh, yeah, I guess I should have put that into SOME sorta context. I plan on CYCLING that distance in one day at some point this summer.
I’ll uh, have to work my way up to it, I’m thinking…
